  • Do you know if your Educational Audiologist or TOD have meet with your learning team?

  • How do you inform/educate school staff about your hearing needs in a way that is not perceived as confrontational and demanding?
  • How do you discuss your hearing loss with new classmates?

  • Do you have input in the development of your personal learning goals?
  • How might you define some of your personal learning goals?
  • Where can you go for help?

ACTIVITIES IDEAS & MATERIALS

Create brochure explaining your hearing loss, learning needs and top tips for learning
Share simulations of your hearing loss
Ask Ed Auds/ToDs for support in setting up a meeting with your learning team (e.g. Lunch and Learn) during which you can share information
