Steve Aiken

Dr. Steve Aiken is an Associate Professor of Audiology, Surgery, Psychology and Neuroscience at Dalhousie University. He received a master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario and a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Toronto. He has practiced as a clinical audiologist at the Canadian Hearing Society in Toronto and as an in-house audiologist for Bernafon Canada. Dr. Aiken’s research is focused on assessing audibility, auditory function and noise-induced damage using evoked responses. He is associate editor of Canadian Audiologist, a past-president of the Canadian Academy of Audiology, and serves on the Hearing Health Alliance of Canada and the Canadian Infant Hearing Task Force.
